Dr. Marcia's Corner
Bio:
Following years of experience as an Educator in Public High Schools, Dr. Marcia earned her Masters in Psychology with study in Behavioral Modification, Decision Making, Conflict Resolution, and Relationship study. She continued her study of Relationship Psychology using several years of extensive research on Dating and Internet Dating to complete her PhD and has written numerous articles on each of her specific subject areas.
In the business arena, Dr. Marcia has created and instructs seminars and workshops on her highly acclaimed corporate series which includes "The Psychology of Sales and Client Skills", and her highly acclaimed "Women in Business" series. She presents these in major corporations, small businesses, and various organizations throughout the country and internationally. Dr. Marcia was recently included in the 2009/10 Princeton Premier for Outstanding Business Leaders and Who's Who of Outstanding Business and Professional Achievement.
Dr. Marcia also works with major financial services companies presenting seminars to singles of all ages on Protecting Your Finances in Your Relationships, to couples on Empty Nests and Retirement, and parents on Teaching Their Children About Money. She also presents her Parenting Skills series of topics to schools and child care facilities.
In the private sector, Dr. Marcia is referred to by clients and friends as the "Female Dr.Phil”. She works with people on Life Management Skills, Behavior and Motivation ("Change your behavior - change your life) and conducts a series of seminars she developed from her years of research on Relationships and Internet Dating. Dr. Marcia offers an alternative to traditional advice and counseling with her enthusiastic down-to-earth advice for Singles, Couples, Parents and Groups in need of expert common sense advice for Relationships in Business, Personal Relationships, and Dating.
Her question and answer advice column, "Ask Dr. Marcia", is featured weekly in many Sunday Newspapers in print and on-line, and most recently she can be seen on cable TV every Friday in "Dr. Marcia Dishes it Out". She is a regular columnist in Parsippany Monthly magazine, and her articles have been published throughout the country.
